It's almost a new year, which means out with the old, coked-up stars and in with the new surprisingly down-to-earth ones.
Lindsay Lohan was required to do one interview to promote her Playboy cover issue and, in typical Lohan fashion, she royally effed it up. The official excuse is that the actress missed her flight to LA, and, thus, couldn't appear on Ellen today. Naturally, the show received "not a call or apology from Lindsay," according to an insider.
Fortunately, despite the fact that she's only 13, Paris Jackson is far more gracious and well-adjusted, and happily stepped in at the last minute to take Lindsay's place. Paris sat down with Ellen to promote her new film, Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys, and even gave some surprisingly candid responses to questions about her father. “He said, ‘If I die tomorrow, always remember what I told you,'" Paris said of the lessons her father taught her. “I took his advice and I remembered everything he told me.’”
So instead of Lindsay drunkenly blathering on about how awesome she is, we got a poignant interview with a rising new star. Score. You can watch Paris' interview on Thursday's episode of Ellen.
