The 'AM to PM' singer's attorney Randy Kessler revealed yesterday (24.10.11) that the final paperwork was signed by the judge presiding over their case in Atlanta earlier this month.

She hinted at her newly single status on her twitter page, writing: " I love freedom... Freedom to be.. To love... To have no boundaries... I love the unexpected, to break the rules. And to OWN my decisions. (sic)"

Christina married the rapper - real name Terius Nash - in Las Vegas in September 2009 and while he served her with divorce papers nine days before she gave birth to the couple's daughter Violet in February 2010, they are said to have reached an amicable settlement agreement.

Mr. Kessler has previously said: "Ms. Milian strongly believes that peaceful resolution is better for their child and she is very pleased with the settlement and that it was accomplished out of court."

The couple only announced their decision to split after The-Dream was spotted canoodling on the beach with another woman.

His spokesperson said at the time: "Terius 'The-Dream' Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. Anesthesiologist Dr. Steven Shafer is spending his fourth day on the witness stand today (21.10.11) in the trial of the late singer's personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray, whohas been charged with involuntary manslaughter of the pop star after he was accused of giving the 'Thriller' hitmaker an overdose of Propofol while trying to help him sleep.

When asked whether Michael could have caused his own death by removing a clamp on an intravenous line of Propofol, Shafer replied: "That's a possibility."

But the medical expert said that hasn't changed his opinion that Murray was culpable in the singer's death.

Coroner's officials have determined the singer died from acute Propofol intoxication and also noted there was anti-anxiety drug lorazepam in Michael's system in June 2009.

Shafer explained there is no way to determine whether Murray or the singer were responsible for starting the flow of the drug that dripped into Michael's veins.

Murray's lawyers claim Michael woke up when the physician left the room and gave himself the drug, but Shafer said this possible outcome was "in no way exculpatory" because Murray would've had to set up the procedure.

Defense lawyer Ed Chernoff began cross-examining Shafer by attacking the conclusions he has reached in court during his testimony.

Chernoff said to him: "You understand that everything you said in the last three days was your opinion."

And Shafer replied: "I stated my name, which I think was a matter of fact."

The defense lawyers are expected to bring forward Murray's case following Shafer's testimony.

Murray - who denies involuntary manslaughter - faces up to four years in prison if he is found guilty.

Celebrity News - Following a chargesheet filed against Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan in relation to copright violation regaring his upcoming film "Ra.One", Bombay High Court today directed SRK to deposit Rs.1 crore with the court before releasing the film.

"The defendants (Shah Rukh, his production house Red Chillies Entertainment and Eros Entertainment) are directed to deposit a sum of Rs.1 crore as pay-order to the court and then release the movie," DNA quoted the court as saying. 

The court heared the petition filed by television producer and writer Yash Patnaik, who contended that he is the original copyright owner of the concept and the content of "Ra.One" produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.

"If the defendants failed to deposit the money by tomorrow tomorrow, an injunction against the movie's release would become operational," said the division bench of Chief Justice Mohit Shah and Justice Roshan Dalvi. "It is the most unfortunate part of the film industry that people use others' concepts and then don't want to pay or give them credit," the bench remarked. The court has kept the final decision on the issue of copyright violation pending and would hear arguments in due course of time.

Patnaik had sought a stay on the film's release until he was given credit for the concept of the futuristic superhero character that Shah Rukh plays in "Ra.One." He had sought ten per cent of the profits, in case he was not given the credit. "The super-villain of Patnaik's script was called "One" which has been used by Shah Rukh Khan in the movie's title," claimed Patnaik's lawer Ravi Kadam.
According to the allegation, the superhero character resembles with the one in Patnaik's concept of 2006, in "attributes and appearance". Further, Kadam also stated that his client Patnaik had discussed the concept with the scriptwriter of "Ra.One" Mushtaq Sheikh in 2006.
Claiming SRK's script is different from Patnaik's concept SRK's lawyer Virendra Tulzapurkar, says, "Patnaik cannot claim copyright, as he had developed his concept with a team of experts he had engaged."

The recent allegation by Kadam will add woes not only to SRK but also to the official distributor Eros Entertainment, who had acquired world wide distribution rights at Rs.150 crore and started transporting prints to theatres.

The judges, while adjourning the hearing for a later date, remarked that "prima facie there has been a copyright violation".
"Ra.One" directed by Anubhav Sinha is slated for release on October 26. The film features Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in the lead roles.

Tragic News- Muammar Gaddafi was killed on Thursday as Libya's new leaders declared they had overrun the last bastion of his long rule, sparking wild celebrations that eight months of war may finally be over.

Details of the death near Sirte of the fallen strongman were hazy but it was announced by several officials of the National Transitional Council (NTC) and backed up by a photograph of a bloodied face ringed by familiar, Gaddafi-style curly hair.
"He was killed in an attack by the fighters. There is footage of that," the NTC's information minister, Mahmoud Shammam, told Reuters.
Western powers, who have backed the rebellion which took the capital Tripoli two months ago, said they were still checking. NATO said its aircraft fired on a convoy near Sirte earlier, but would not confirm reports that Gaddafi had been a passenger.
Several NTC fighters in Sirte said they had seen Gaddafi shot dead, though their accounts varied.

With a final declaration of the country's "liberation" from 42 years of one-man rule apparently imminent, and crowds firing in the air and dancing in the streets of Tripoli and Benghazi, Libyan television said NTC chairman Mustafa Abdel Jalil was about to address the nation.

The two months since the fall of Tripoli have tested the nerves of the motley alliance of anti-Gaddafi forces and their Western and Arab backers, who had begun to question the ability of the NTC forces to root out diehard Gaddafi loyalists in Sirte and a couple of other towns.

Officials said some of Gaddafi's entourage had been killed in the same incident, while his son Mo'tassim and other aides were taken prisoner. Another son, Saif -- long the heir-apparent -- was believed by the NTC to be still at large, possibly in the immense southern deserts of the Libyan Sahara.

The death of Gaddafi himself became perhaps the most dramatic development since the Arab Spring revolts that have unseated rulers in neighboring Tunisia and Egypt and threaten the grip on power of the leaders of Syria and Yemen.
"He (Gaddafi) was also hit in his head," NTC official Abdel Majid Mlegta told Reuters. "There was a lot of firing against his group and he died."

Mlegta told Reuters earlier that Gaddafi, who was in his late 60s, was captured and wounded in both legs at dawn on Thursday as he tried to flee in a convoy which NATO warplanes attacked. He said he had been taken away by an ambulance.
An NTC fighter in Sirte said he had seen Gaddafi shot after he was cornered and captured in a tunnel near a roadway.

The capture of Sirte means Libya's ruling NTC should now begin the task of forging a new democratic system which it had said it would get under way after the city, Gaddafi's hometown rebuilt as a showpiece for his rule, had fallen.
As potentially vast revenues from oil and gas begin to roll in again, Libya's six million people, scattered in towns spread across wide deserts, face a major task in organizing a new system of government that can allocate resources across long-competing tribal, ethnic and regional divisions.

Gaddafi, wanted by the International Criminal Court on charges of ordering the killing of civilians, was toppled by rebel forces on August 23, a week short of the 42nd anniversary of the military coup which brought him to power in 1969.
NTC fighters hoisted the red, black and green national flag above a large utilities building in the center of a newly-captured Sirte neighborhood and celebratory gunfire broke out among their ecstatic and relieved comrades.
