as Alesha Dixon says it's a 'two-horse race' between Chelsee and Harry
They've been pushing themselves every single week to impress both the judges and viewers with their fancy footwork on Strictly Come Dancing. And now the three finalists, Chelsee Healey, Harry Judd and Jason Donovan, are making the finishing touches to their routines ahead of this weekend's final.
The trio were seen today rehearsing with their dance partners at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, where they will each perform four routines for the panel.
Two horse race: Strictly Come Dancing judge has said the final is a 'two-horse race' between Chelsee Healy and Harry Judd
Trying his best: Jason Donovan is in the final but Alesha doesn't rate his chances against his competitors
In an interview for Graham Norton’s BBC talk-show, screened tonight, Alesha said: ‘It will either be Chelsee or Harry. Chelsee is a brilliant dancer but I think a lot of women have a soft spot for Harry.’
Harry, 25, drummer with the pop band McFly, is the bookies’ favourite to win tomorrow night – despite the fact that his competition, actress Chelsee, 23, and singer Jason, 43, achieved perfect 40 scores for dances last week.
Determined: Chelsee looked as if she was concentrating hard as she rehearsed for the final at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom today
Fun and games: Chelsee and partner Pasha are repeating their Shrek jive to I'm A Believer
Harry took to the floor in t-shirt and jogging bottoms today as he prepared for the showdown, along with dancer Aliona Vilani.
Meanwhile, Chelseey practised her Shrek-themed dance with professional Pasha Kovalev, posing with a donkey and miniature castle, and Jason rehearsed with Kristina Rihanoff, carrying giant feathers as they prepared to reprise their Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert dance from earlier in the series.
Atmospheric: Pasha watches as Chelsee rehearses the start of one of the other routines
So far Harry has the highest average mark of the series, but he is also the only one of the three who has not scored a perfect 40, with nitpicking Revel Horwood only ever giving him a nine at best.
BBC bosses will also be hoping for a ratings bonanza as the show defied expectations to regularly skip ahead of rival The X Factor on a Saturday night.
Shot himself in the foot: A spokeperson for Rupert Adam said Jason's competitiveness will see him lose
Yesterday Harry said he owed his ability to dance partner Vilani, saying: 'Without Aliona I'm nothing on the dance floor, I'm afraid.'
William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams said: 'All three have the dancing ability to win this but the ultra- competitive Jason has shot himself in the foot and the odds suggest it is between Chelsee and Harry.'
